dannywr![]() | Many users have been asking around on the forums how to send themes over to a device, and how to delete themes from them. So I'm posting these tutorials with hope it clears it all up. Section AMethod 1, PC/Mac (wireless, easiest): The CodeThemed iPhone app You can download the official CodeThemed app through Cydia from the BigBoss repo. It lets you transfer themes wirelessly with just a couple clicks. Best for the novice user.
Method 2, PC/Mac (USB): iPhone explorer
Method 3, PC (SSH, wireless): WinSCP
Method 4, Mac (SSH, wireless): Cyberduck
Section BOnce in the Themes folder of your device using one of the above methods, from this point you can transfer to & delete themes on your device. Transferring theme onto device:
Deleting a theme from your device In your Themes folder on your device, simply highlight & select delete on the theme you wish to delete. Having problems? For the wireless methods, your computer may block the software. If this happens, open your firewall settings and add the software of your choice to the exceptions list. Or, run your chosen software as admin and try again. If when you login to your device and the only folders you can see in Root are Media & Library, it is because you are in the wrong Root folder. You are in Root>Var>Root. So go back up one directory to Var, there you can continue in the right path. |
