Q. Do I need to jailbreak my device to use themes I create?

Yes; you need to have WinterBoard installed to use any of the themes here on CodeThemed.

Q. How do I download themes to my device?

You have two options. You can either use our CodeThemed iPhone application to wirelessly transfer the theme,
			       or you can download the .ZIP file and copy it to your device using the SSH protocol. Tutorials
				on how to SSH can be found on our Blog.

Q. Where can I find the CodeThemed iPhone application?

Our application is available in the Cydia Store under the BigBoss Repository; just search for CodeThemed.

Q. What is Cydia Store?

Cydia is an "unofficial" App Store; you need to jailbreak your device to get it.

Q. My theme says it's "Pending Review" -- what does that mean?

Your theme is waiting for a member of our review team to place your theme in Cydia. The review process may take up to 24-48 hours. Although, due to the recent launch of 1-Click Sharing, it may take longer for your theme to be reviewed — we have a massive amount of submissions daily. Once your theme has been reviewed, you will receive an email with more information. All updates of themes are also subject to this review process.

Q. My theme says it's "Denied in Review" -- what does that mean?

Your theme wasn't accepted for placement in Cydia. Specific details of why your theme was not accepted are emailed to the address associated with your account. You can also find this information by clicking the "DENIED IN REVIEW" button at the 'My Themes' page. If you have questions, you can reply to the denial email and we will assist you. Most likely your theme did not follow our Cydia Submission Guidelines.

Q. My theme says it's "In Cydia" -- what does that mean?

Because you opted in to 1-Click Sharing, your theme was automatically reviewed and placed in Cydia, the world's largest free theme marketplace. Cydia is installed after jailbreaking your iDevice. You can find your theme by opening Cydia and searching your theme's title.
